Ultra-Critical Clean Rooms (Class 1, 10, 100) ISO 3, 4, 5

The highest level, or “cleanest” controlled environments require materials with a higher level of liquid splash protection. Typical articles of apparel for these cleanrooms may include Beard Cover, Face Mask, Booties, Coverall, Cleanroom Gloves, Hair Cover, and a Hood

Apparel for Less-Critical Clean Rooms (Class 1,000, 10,000, 100,000)

Less-critical cleanrooms, such as class 1,000, 10,000 and even 100,000 will only require basic levels of protection. Hair should be covered with beard covers and hair nets in all cleanrooms. Depending on the tasks being performed, a coverall may be required but a lab coat is often sufficient. Booties and gloves may also be required.
